I am sure we all have heard of the flight attendant in New York, who in a moment of clarity decided that he was done. He pulled the escape hatch on the jet and jumped down to the tarmac with a few beers and headed home. He, simply, had enough. I know a few times in my sales and mortgage career I’ve had the Slater moment. Where dealing with clients, banks or other employees. I just knew that I needed to be self-employed. I had to be on my own.
The road may be a little rough, but I know when I get to the end it will all be worth it.
