Good Planning

The other day, I really messed up. I was late to an appointment. I am hardly ever late to an appointment. My planning was good, but it was the wrong thinking. I was relying on old information, I was thinking that Munster was closer than it was in reality.  I was thinking wrong and assuming. I am sure we all know what assuming does.

So, make sure when you setting up your plans, developing your strategy that you are doing it with the most up-to-date and correct information. Thinking you are right and being right are vastly different.

People first, Client second

People First, Clients Second

As I dive deeper into my research of my first e-book (my goal is 3/1 release), I have studied, analyzed and at times over-scrutinized people and companies social media techniques and perceived strategies.  I have watched  them explode onto the scene and then implode after they install the social media pillar into the their marketingfamily jumping efforts.

I’ve been in several discussions as to what to do with direct mail, dead tree media (newspaper), radio and TV.  I’ll be the first say if it is working for you, keep doing it, but make sure it is still working for you.  I still get sporadic calls from a yellow page ad from four years ago, but I’m cannot tell that I ever closed a loan from it.

What has worked…  Simple and it is #1 practice on my Social Networking success.

#1  people first; buyers second

It is really very simple.  When you walk down the street, do you hand your business card to each and every person you meet?  Then let me ask you one question….why would you broadcast on any social media platform? I am not saying that you should not promote yourself, but not to do it with every breath.

You don’t like it when someone does it to you! What is the “Golden Rule”?  Treat people how you would like to be treated.  Make them your friends and they’ll soon become your clients.

Using a Virtual Assistant

My Virtual Assistance Experiences.  So far… I am a good 3-weeks into it and here are my experiences. Well, one of the reasons I did it is because it was taking me twice as long to get anything done when it came to writing for my blog. When I was in school, we were not [...] Read more »

Success though Failure
